Vanishing

Should I wander,

would you know?

Disappearing…It ain't so hard.

The simple act of being born

may be enough.

Placed in a world that wants you not

Live in a time that cares only for the moment

Accept distractions as mere illusions

Let others tell you what should know

who you should be

how you should act.

Respect no one, especially yourself

Realize your opinion

is unwanted

inconsequential.

Forget being unique, an individual

conform until you puke.

Suck in the breath of tainted air

pretending it is pure.

Stuff your belly with poisonous fillers

feeding the fear.

Accept lies as truth

Come to be, the simple minded

the needy,

the desperate.

Do not question

Do not inquire

Do not think for yourself.

Become blind to the dishonest

Flatter false prophets

Pretend you do not exist

Live in the shadows of your capabilities

Become no more than a ghost

of your own creation.

This is how you disappear

This how you were never here.
