Rushing to the store with a singular goal,

New curtains for my windows to console.

But upon arrival, my attention sways,

To the dazzling displays in the mall's maze.

Shiny windows beckon, inviting me in,

To explore the treasures they hold within.

Each shop boasts its wares, enticing and bright,

From jewelry to shoes, a tempting sight.

Shop after shop, I eagerly roam,

Drawn by the allure of items to own.

Jewels sparkle, shoes gleam, dresses call,

And perfumes whisper promises in the hall.

With each ching-ching, my card takes the brunt,

As I indulge in purchases, without a stunt.

In just an hour, my wallet feels the strain,

Hundreds of euros spent, with no refrain.
