Shine

Poem

Liquid sunrise trickles into the heart of Mother Earth, as all of the lovely little things roll about in silken golden ribbons, so sure of eternal life. Too soon a velvety twilight replaces the glittering day, and all that is left is the comfort of a new light taking shape.

I cannot recall all the times my skin has felt its embrace. I cannot recall all the days it has filled me with utter joy and contentment. But I do know what it has taught me; light will always lead me home. "Look up! Look waaay up, child. Together we are life."
