Shhhh...
Don’t tell them I’m here.
Today is a good one, but it’s shy.
Too much loud, too much sun and it’ll be spooked.
I’m perfectly fine where I am, watching from the sidelines.
When you laugh I’m chuckling too - just not out loud where you can hear.
But I promise I’m here, even though, yes, it’s been a while.
It’s nice, it doesn’t quite hurt to watch or listen today.
So I’m dipping in a toe, but not the whole leg.
They can’t have the whole thing just yet.
But I promise I’m here.
Still.
