She's a know-it-all

A poem

She carries herself like a statue in a museum display case

Never changing

Her stance and demeanour remain the same

As they were five decades ago

Even though

Times and circumstances call for different measures

A different approach to matters and people

Nothing escapes her; she is always lying in wait

For the perfect remedy for her headache

She reigns supreme, like a queen on her throne

Everyone else is submissive, never getting their way

Forced to slip by unnoticed

Unable to present themselves

In the best possible light

The moment will never come

When showcasing their skills

Could change anyone’s world

Because before that can happen

She will crush them with a single menacing glare

Showing no mercy to the sycophants

Keeping them all in the crosshairs

Of her toxic nature

And we all must accept it without a word
