Shell Magnolias

Sweet Honeysuckles and Salty Magnolias

By Seashell Harpspring Published about a month ago 1 min read

What would be a perfume scent you would want? Your signature scent:

For me it would have the sweetness of honeysuckles

The salt of ocean and shells

The big soft florals of magnolias,

As if I am sucking on honey with my feet in the sand

Making my way to a magnolia bush

Touching the giant petals while waters start to warm.

The sipping of a cold martinis in the fresh grass cut breeze.

Swinging and rocking on your porch at night with a glass of lemon tea.

A shelltini in a cup with a smoked salt rim

A beach bonfire with s'mores and long grass waving in the wind.

The scent of sunscreen and fair churros

Salt, sweat, and sweets together

All bottled in an emerald green

Like the birthstone of May

Same as the city of magic

Reminding of the glistening seafoam under the sun

Shell Magnolias to breathe outdoors and in.
