Shedding

Watching my dragon sleep, feeling

Admiration for a seemingly simple

Existence in such a complex creation.

A cyclical regeneration in the heat of

Daylight, shedding past forms

Intuitively into the night.

-

None are wiser than Nature,

Disguising growth as a cocoon,

Thinking barriers mean revising,

Patience doesn’t act so soon.

-

In the flow with Gaia,

She shows: you grow when

Letting go.

-

A planted seed is not ready

To be reaped, until it’s ripe,

Such wisdom to know.

-

Is the clock not the Sun?

Nor falling rain a joyous sound?

To “just be,” shows, that time abounds.

While evolution favors some

It still too, always

Finds the others

Growing underground.
