Days melt into one.
Clock ticks with a silent tongue.
How long is too long?

I just heard the term “unwritten leaves,” and now I can’t get it out of my head.

It’s such a beautiful phrase for blank pages, and I feel I have so many of those right now.

I’m still finding my way back to writing after taking a break for work, but I will continue to gather my leaves and each day add a little more to them until they are full again.

Today, I set myself the goal of writing an opening haiku for my book I’m working on. It’s a thriller about an author waiting for her book to be published.
