She is so tired and feels like she can't get back on her feet

Time and time again… nothing but defeat

She feels sad and yet happy

Which causes so much confusion

Are her goals and dreams just a delusion

Hiding her fears and nervous fits

She wants noone to worry about her one bit

The choice she made was hers to own

This place felt right even though it was so far from home

It's been months now since she walked away

She knows being gone is for her best

Yet, some days it doesn't feel that way

Her kindness has turned into anger

Questioning why she put so many others emotions before her own

Even when others being in the wrong was clearly known

She knew if she was going to make it here near the sandy shore

Her only focus should be on herself and nothing more

Everything happens for a reason

That’s why they call it the sunshine state

So although she was struggling with where she was meant to be

She knew in her heart this was her fate
