She Shines

Sitting With The Moon

We are radiant.

In awe of one another,

giving my Shine as She does to mine

My perception

—Her reflection

Flickering and rippling

Not true like the light from which She shines

Purity of the Pleiades and firelight eyes intertwining with eternity

Claircognizance of me as clarity unwinds and I

One minuscule particle of terra trinity

Dies

I am nothing

I am everything

I am hope for nightfall’s lamenting

Her brilliance soothes, and cools me

breaths ease through my mind’s unfolding

My wish:

to witness this miracle from the inside

to feel it and see it with unwavering eyes
