A lifetime of mud
Seeping into every part
My mind cannot think.
The heat is too much
Thoughts are racing all day long
My heart is compressed.
Take me to the sea
Let me float here till I die
I’m so tired….sigh.
I take my last breath
And all the pain disappears
My spirit is free.
