She’s a Tramp

She ain’t no lady

She’s a Tramp

She isn’t a lady

no silk or silver spoon

her laugh cracks like thunder

and her footsteps chase the moon

She wears no crown

no polished, painted smile

her scars are her stories

walked every hard mile

She drinks the night

not in glasses but in fire

a reckless flame burning

with no hint of desire

She’s not soft or gentle

not a rose in a vase

she’s a tramp, a wild soul

no one’s chains can embrace

She walks her own roads

rough stones beneath bare feet

and in her broken beauty

she is completely complete
