She Runs with the Herd

A Poem from the Past

By Ara --Published 9 years ago • 1 min read

Her name tells of how

It was with her.

Since the beginning,

Like the new dawn of day,

She is as glorious as the first sunrise

With the beauty of nature.

She has the touch of an angel,

The scent of wild roses,

And is as delicate as a foal.

She runs faster than the wind,

And is more passionate than lovers.

Though she's to modest to admit

She's a diamond in the rough.

She is a fierce storm,

Like the loud boom of thunder.

She runs with her soul,

To the sound of peace.

Although, it is more seen than heard,

Never forget,

How she runs with the herd.
