She Reasoned

A Poem

By Mihaela VasilevaPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

She reasons

With great astuteness

Or rather

With great focus

What the world

Manifests itself to be on the daily.

One moment, the rain bears tempests most foul

And the next,

Sunshine clears the snowy paths left from Winter’s life.

All the best,

She wished,

To the season that changed into the next.

This cycle of Life

Beginning

Ending

Birth

Death.

She reasoned that very little stood in between.

Yet,

She also understood the infinities of space and time

How grandly and elegantly

The two swung the course of Life

And how freely,

They reasoned to believe that

Everything has its purpose.

My,

How wonderful it is to be alive.

She reasoned.

But she hasn’t looked up from the page

Yet.
