She Is the Devil’s Daughter
Wicked as the man himself

She Is the Devil’s Daughter
She walks like silence cut from glass
no footsteps, only aftermath
a breath too cold, a smile too wide
with every glance, the brave subside
Her eyes know sins not yet confessed
a heart that’s never known unrest
she drinks from wells where angels drown
and wears their feathers as a crown
She laughs at prayers, at vows, at grief
her love is brief and sharp as teeth
she doesn’t burn, she never tries
just watches as the daylight dies
They say she came from brimstone’s shore
but she was born in beds, not war
in broken homes, in crooked lies
in mothers’ screams and fathers’ sighs
She’s not a myth, she’s not a flame
she answers only to her name
and if you speak it, soft or loud
she’ll find you, smiling through the crowd
Don’t offer gold, don’t bring her wine
your blood will do, it suits her fine
she is the wound you cannot dress
the kiss that tastes like nothingness
So light your lamps and guard your gates
she doesn’t knock, she doesn’t wait
a shadow first, then nothing more
just ash across the hallway floor
