Shattered

Finding hope and resilience in the face of personal struggles

I am broken, shattered like glass.

My pieces scattered, lost in the past.

I try to pick them up, but they slip through my grasp,

Leaving me feeling empty, with nothing to clasp.

I search for a way to put myself together,

To mend the cracks and weather the weather.

But it seems like an impossible endeavor,

As each day brings new storms to weather.

So I sit with my shattered self, and I cry,

For the pieces that I've lost, for the time that's gone by.

But I know that someday, I'll find a way to fly,

And my shattered pieces will once again reach for the sky.
