Do you see that there?

Beautiful, shiny and clear?

Pick it up and dash it out there

And watch it shatter.

Do you see that dear?

The slender bottle of beer?

Pick it up and dash it out there

And watch it shatter.

Now do you see that seat?

Flip it up over its feet

Stomp down and hear it creak

And watch it shatter.

Isn’t that her favourite mirror?

You were always kind and a giver

But did she even consider?

Now watch it shatter.

All the years you were together

You thought were happy forever

You almost asked her whether

But she let it shatter.
