I thought you said you were never gonna let me stand alone

I thought you were an angel sent from above

My mind to insanity, you drove

Never appreciated me for who I am

Without you, I learnt to always remain calm

You said I wasn't good enough for you

That I had a very weird costume and attitude

But for all the love I showed, you never said "thank you"

Or in some other way show enough gratitude

When I was down, you left my side

You left me on the lonely road when I needed a guide

Pain, stress, tears were my everyday lunch,

I thought you loved me, but that was just a hunch

I stare at the clouds, thinking and hoping

That the person you love would treat you mercilessly

But that would make me just as wicked as thee

I gave up so much to make sure that "us" would work

But in this dilemma, you left me stuck

I have forgotten how to be myself

My friends indeed told me loving you came with regrets

But I never gave ears to their advice

And now I am blind to even see any hope of a sunrise

Lonely forever I must become, or so it seems
