There are things in life that should be shared

Like ice cream sodas and teddy bears,

A secret smile, a knowing look,

The story in your favorite book,

A special trust to show you care,

A helping hand for a burden to share,

A friendship that's not just in the time of need,

But there whether you fail or succeed,

A shoulder upon which you can lean

When you see the ending of your dream;

An imagination to set you free

So you can be all you'd like to be -

All this and more should be shared

With people for whom you really care.

Those special people will tell you true

They care the same, each day for you.

So, open your heart to the people around

And see how many friends you have found.
