Share your Color

The colorful part of a life well lived

Is when you come to know your life’s purpose

Like a diamond, your every color seem to sparkle

Like floating in a wind, you’ll be light as a feather

In the past I did not really get it

When they say the universe is within

Eventually I have come to understand

It is your talent and skills, you share, you hand

Life is never easy

It is full of trials

full of life challenges

But the secret to thrive I suppose

Is to know your mission, your purpose

But how to do it really

Is mind boggling, unrealistic

Cause for many, to live is to survive, to struggle

So more people feel trapped and helpless

It Is true

How do you help?

When you yourself

Need helping right?

I say, follow the wise

The learned, successful men

I’ve learned from them

About what I’m trying to say

Once you get to know what your life is for

You be/come more aware, more alive

You fit in, never question what life is

you live in abundance, in a constant bliss

A life well live I say is in sharing

In giving one’s life to a purpose

So that other people’s color may shine

That their inner universe they may find

Take me as an example

I’m not bragging here, I want to share

That I was helpless, was suffering

I was naïve, was never listening

But when I opened my ears to wisdom

This is what I learned

One should give oneself for purpose

Unselfish, whole hearted

Yes, I use my colors to help many

partnering with a foundation to help

So that the children with HIV gets medicine

In helping I receive more than what I give

The universe will use your color

And if you are willing

Your rainbow will shine

You’ll give hope and inspiration

It is in living and helping others

That you fill your empty cup

It is in sharing yourself, your talent

That you gain more in life

So I am telling you

Give back, wholeheartedly, unselfishly

Offer your talent, your knowledge to the needy

You’ll see you’ll be blessed

Because it is in giving

That we truly receive
