Shannon Shuffle

of truth

By Harper Lewis Published 3 months ago • 1 min read

Moody, broody, Punch & Judy,

stuck and fucked in second gear—

at least there’s nothing

left to fear. Hate reigns down

from a farcical queen

perched on a throne of face cards,

deck stacked, cut denied—

Dealer’s choice,

House always wins.

But something else

begins.
