Shameless

Youth is the true freedom

By Cody SaporitoPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

You can stab

the silver beached

balloons

but they don’t stain

the sand

the jellyfish did not bleed

how I bled

so I felt nothing

I was just a boy

Just like the animal

longs to be bare

I danced naked

around the

spineless trophies

I did not feel

the sting of shame

I did not tuck my tail

I was free

We fell out of god’s

clumsy hands

into the ocean

and crawled

out as

devils
