Shakur Spear

A poetic tribute to Tupac

By Joe PattersonPublished 6 months ago • 1 min read

The 16th century had Shakespeare. The 20th had Shakur Spear.

The world is different without having Tupac Shakur here.

Born with the militant mind of a revolutionary.

A Gemini personality and a heart that was evolutionary.

His love for his people and the heart of the ghetto is forever missed.

A multi platinum soul to never be dismissed.

You created art that became the voice of a generation.

A retelling of urban tales which pulled me through many situations.

A fiery spirit who gave a brazen call to action.

One loved passion. Uninhibited thug passion.

Until the end of time I’ll always feel Tupac Shakur here.

Better days were lively in the times of Shakur Spear.
