Shadows

Poem

I hope you know what you’re urging for.

The purpose slipped my mind.

Dwell here the spirits you’ve never invited before.

Shadows are blind.

I think I know what you’re searching for.

But the direction is undefined.

There’s no doubt in the shadows that what’s required is always done.

The path to greatness is a tired, lonely one.

There’s darkness in the shadows, but hardly ever danger.

It’s just in your head.

It doesn’t switch from friend today, and tomorrow a stranger.

I’d rather speak with the dead.

Do you now see what you were running from?

The details escaped me.

There was nothing to be scared of.

No reasons to hate me.

When you chase after shadows, your world becomes timeless.

In a mindless state.

All you knew is now all pointless.

Gotta suck this poison out from these envious snakes.

They hide in the shadows where light can’t intrude.

That which is claimed is already true!
