I paint a portrait of a tear-stained sky.

A heart, once vibrant, is now draped in gray,

Weighed down by burdens it cannot sway,

Like a fragile flower, crushed by despair,

Its petals wilted, lost in the air.

In shadows' embrace, the spirit cries,

As shattered dreams and hopes capsize,

A symphony of grief, a silent song,

Whispered by souls that have loved and longed.

The raindrops fall, mirroring the pain,

Each droplet's touch, a teardrop's stain,

The world weeps in unison, sorrow unbound,

A symphony of sadness, without a sound.

Lost in the labyrinth of shattered dreams,

Where hope's light fades, and darkness gleams,

Fingers of grief entangle the heart,

Leaving behind wounds that never depart.

Oh, how the echoes of laughter fade,

Replaced by silence, an empty cascade,

Forlorn is the soul that yearns to heal,

In the depths of anguish, it learns to kneel.

New beginnings emerge from what's withdrawn,

sadness may linger, but it does not define,
