Shadows of Sorrow
Written By Hasan Shahid
In shadows of sorrow, my heart finds no peace,
A symphony of tears, a soul's slow release.
Love's ember now faded, its flame lost in gloom,
Leaving scars etched deeply, in this lonely room.
Once vibrant and hopeful, like petals unfurled,
Our dreams intertwined, in a magical world.
But fate played its game, and we're torn apart,
Leaving fragments of love, a shattered heart.
Whispers of your laughter still echo in my mind,
Yet your absence surrounds me, like darkness unkind.
I'm left with memories, haunting and bittersweet,
As I stumble through this heartbreak's cruel deceit.
Time may heal wounds, or so they say,
But the ache remains, in shades of gray.
I'll gather the pieces, though jagged and worn,
And learn to survive, with a heart forlorn.
For love's bitter taste, now etched in my core,
I'll seek solace in solitude, forevermore.
In this heartbroken symphony, I'll find my way,
And embrace the pain, in this love's disarray.
