The bright orange sun peaking through your window embracing your face - coaching yourself to open your eyes,

The initial breath of grey air that was once vibrant with light pink,

The baby coos and cries that sparks a sudden yellow flame before fading out into the dark shadows of guilt and inadequacy,

The empty dark brown that consumes your heart which is still craving the yellow that once outlined your soul,

The dark green thunder of guilt and exhaustion washing over your legs and mind as you drag yourself to stare into those beautiful baby blues,

Lighting a wave of red love over your being,

It was never meant to be filled with shadows... only rainbows.

Why did this storm happen?
