In twilight's hush, where shadows creep,
A love unspoken, secrets deep.
A stolen glance, a yearning sigh,
A love that dares not meet the eye.
A whispered word, a touch so light,
A fleeting dance in fading light.
Forbidden fruit, a tempting taste,
A love embraced, a love misplaced.
The weight of duty, honor's hold,
Chains of constraint, a story told.
Two hearts entwined, a silent vow,
Yet shadows linger, cast them down.
Jealousy's sting, a bitter brew,
Love's tapestry, in shades of blue.
Fear of discovery, whispers spread,
The shadow of love, where dreams lie dead.
But even in darkness, embers glow,
A hidden flame, refusing to go.
The strength of hearts, a silent plea,
To break the chains, and finally be free.
Will shadows fade, with morning's light?
Or will they linger, through the night?
A chance encounter, a whispered name,
Can shadows deepen, or love's true flame
Embrace the dawn, and cast them out?
For love's true strength, dispels all doubt.
Though shadows linger, a fading trace,
True love will find its rightful place.
