Shadows In My Mind

An undiscovered world

By Billie FranksPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The day begins as one ends

Yellow beams throughout the sun lit sky

To be the clouds above

Blinded by its beauty

Only to be down here

Looking above at an undiscovered world

A place where light roams free and everything’s to be

Only it’s truest form of pure happiness

Why does this not shadow below?

The greys cover my yellow beams

Sun lit skies are hidden by the discovered

Blinded by the truest form of identity

Closed to the possibilities

Where is the undiscovered hiding?

In the yellow beams throughout the sky

Or in the grey shadows of my mind?
