Shadow Dispel
lux libera lupus
Siren’s song, heaven’s wail
Pierces through a cosmic veil
If dark times provoke prevailing
Why not greet them with regaling
Why not court the feathered friend
Why not sow a somber seed
With proper plans on how to mend
One can soothe most prophesies
A flame that burns like dawn’s horizon
present dearly treasured
Tree well-watered seems to wizen
Free of sin or guilty pleasures
A loss of our heart’s guidance
Suffering for seeking on
the wrong side of the wire fence
[ In times of woe and shadow spell
No foe that ye cannot dispel
not one in light, pure dawnstars dwell
Sans any shadow creature fell ]
When I didn’t have faith,
I had fear
When I couldn’t perceive, blinded by burden of being,
the great deluder, ego
When I did not weave my tale
From my own voice I kept clear
Through the gusting of eternal gales
These principles held steer
Thrice ambitious, sights set firm
Hate to watch the serpent burn
Harmony, a lesson learned
By your guidance, daily earned
your wisdom;
blessing,
In fault of action free of yearn
Another rung on Jacob’s ladder, thus the Kalpic cycles turn
Knock knock knockin on heaven’s door
A heart well-kept can always hold one more
Hiding from this dreadful district
Not quite rotten to the core
Succulent social circumstances
Make life well-worth living for
