My pride is controlled

Humility is better

For me and mankind

🪽🪽♾️♾️♾️🪽🪽

If I am not lost

Does my kindness show to all

Is there still envy?

🪽🪽♾️♾️♾️🪽🪽

Wicked ways of some

How can I be rid of wrath

Patience the virtue.

🪽🪽♾️♾️♾️🪽🪽

Sloth be gone from us

Diligent we try to be

Sometimes we get there

🪽🪽♾️♾️♾️🪽🪽

Die you greedy goose

Generosity is free

Give to those in need.

🪽🪽♾️♾️♾️🪽🪽

Lusting is for free

But let consequences be

Chastity, maybe.

🪽🪽♾️♾️♾️🪽🪽

With no gluttony

Excess will no longer be

Temperance reigns free.

🪽🪽♾️♾️♾️🪽🪽

[Author's note: Christian theology also emphasizes these seven virtues expressed in the Haiku poems above, to counteract the seven deadly sins I expressed as Haiku poems here:]

Till next time,
