Ignited sky
burning down
the day
voracious
flames
scorch the
horizon into
a fiery edge
effervescent hues
brilliant reds
yellows
orange
fifty shades of
magnificence
drape across
sleepy blue sky
startled
exhilarated
left breathless
by the goldened
emboldened
exit of
the sun.
“He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down.”
