Sentience: A Dark Promise

Or, Eclipse by Attrition

Each day of life and other debts

Cannot sole purpose bear

Laid so beneath the eye of death

In saddle of its mare

Perchance by night, into its care,

Shadowed by the great unseen: if here you find yourself

Ever, then, you'll come abundant in abyssal wealth

sad poetry
