In a world of sensory delight,
Where the senses reign supreme,
We dance to the rhythm of sight,
And bathe in sounds like a dream.
Our fingers yearn to touch and feel,
The world around us rich and real,
And tongues that long for tastes divine,
In flavors, we find love in kind.
But senses come with struggles too,
As smells can choke and make us blue,
And sounds that deafen with their might,
And sights that blind our eyes with light.
Yet still we crave these sensory thrills,
For in them, life's true essence spills,
And though they may cause pain and strife,
They give us meaning to our life.
So let us embrace each sense we own,
And let them guide us to the unknown,
For in their passion and in their pain,
We find the beauty in life's refrain.
