Rest, sleep, hope, try

I really hope ... I will not die

Too much to see

Too much to do

My children need my love

like glue

I thought I might have more time left

to move some mountains

Be myself

But time feels like it's running out

Don't sympathise

It's all my fault

I do not wish to change my past

The fun I had

Friends loved and lost

So many lovers passed me by

I realise now

They were my guide

For now I live the perfect life

Surrounded by my kids and wife

I pray I may have decades left

But now will have to do

instead.
