she slumps– silently sober

salt streams sting, sliding south

sandpaper sighs. suffocating staccato.

society’s sommelier, sipping shame

sunken, smokescreen smiles.

sovereign of saffron slashes

scrubbing scarlet spills.

she shatters – skeleton sanctuary

stolen shoelaces. scuffling socks.

shackled specimens. solitude sisters.

secreting scheduled serotonin,

she sings – satisfaction sans salvation

stashing silver skylines

semi-resilient, semisolid, semisweet

[semicolon]

sad poetry
