I wear my shame like a cliché around my neck
I hold aloft my desire like a forced metaphor
My time spent wallowing in the, no not mire
There is an art to writing without it sounding
out in every line as art, and not just
the thoughts of your mind. My shame is my skin
My desire is my sin.
