How many colours can you see in a soul?

A work in progress,

Paints poised on a palette,

Unsure of their final form.

A brush dipped in each hue,

Strokes strung across the canvas,

Hesitation hidden in every line.

Red rises through the centre,

Passion streaming through the upstrokes.

Black incoming from the corners,

Dark recesses of her mind in movement.

Blue blossoming from the brush,

Her creativity curving through canvas.

Outspoken splashes of purple,

Make their strength known

In vibrant veins of paint.

Silver strands of spirituality,

Glisten their way into view

Through swirling valleys of green.

Hesitation hidden in colour,

Strokes strung into beautiful chaos.

A brush bringing to light her beauty,

Amidst the shadows of her soul.

Paints poised on a palette,

Become a picture of her power.
