A convo with the self. Last piece in The New Covenant

Let’s go on this journey

you and I.

Let’s live these decisions

and grow the pieces-of-life

which sprout

from such internal

fantasies.

.

It is the beginning,

you feel it now. You've been

born again, Don't think

too much on how

.

it happened or where

you've been. There

are tokens and gems

lined along the journey

between now and then.

.

The burning streets you walk

The flaming songs you sing,

.

which play

on inside yourself,

.

hear them as they play

different songs,

.

lead you to different

gatherings of people

that can fulfull

your real purpose.

.

Let these stars, Kerouac's stars

let them burn, burn, burn,

.

so bright, they light the way

to every decision

you need to make

to free you of your bonds

.

and guide you to parts

of yourself that allow you

.

to be that purpose.

Live that purpose.

Fulfill that purpose.

.

The New Covenant,

the Covenant that played

in your dreams.

.

The one where

Isaac, that second child,

bled on the stone

at Mount Hood.

.

Let this New Covenant play

in full force, let it consecrate

your days and let your prayers

.

consecrate this Covenant

as you dream

such star filled

dreams,

.

of pirates, fairies, dragons

with clocks in their mouths,

.

new openings,

new dance floors

to hear the beat,

new lovers,

with a gender that completes

the complexity

of who you are.

.

Find that identity,

forged in fire

tempered in the waters

of change,

.

and the suicide of old myths,

and the aftermath of living

your true life.

.

Let these thoughts guide your way

out of this terrible night
