Self Destruction on Overload

Why am I doing this again?

Self Destruction on Overload

Self destruction on overload

I want flawless perfection.

nothing in reality works that way.

Things, no I mess up every day.

Each day, I chase an ideal,

a picture of pure, untouchable calm,

yet every moment shatters that image

with the weight of all my doubts.

I try to build a perfect world

inside my mind,

only to find my thoughts are wild,

messy fragments that refuse to align.

I wonder why I spoil it all always?

why every hope crumbles

I demand nothing less than perfection,

when every mistake echoes like failure.

The mirror reflects a storm,

each glance a reminder

that my mind is a battleground

God why do I mess up my mind this way?.
