Self care

I was once lost, but now have been found

For giving myself what I needed

Was self care

Massage

Pedicure

Dinner with the family and friends

Deep conversations with my self as I write in my journal my deepest thoughts

Pros of being me

what I can work on to make me a better human being

Or care giver for my greatest gift of all my

Son

The struggles

The heart ache

The pain

The trauma

I’ve done it all on my own

After years of therapy

After struggles of depression and anxiety

What I really needed to be found is be me

The fun

Loving caring soul I am

Then let everything else go

The disappointments

The anger

The sadness

Let them just all melt away

In to the ground

About the Creator

Jennifer lindquist

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
