There was a wall ahead
Seen only by one,
A self fulfilling structure
Set forth by building blocks
Created in the mind,
A sure halt to leaps
An end to progress,
Despite warnings
Of upcoming events
That we fabricated ourselves
And set in motion
Under the stars,
To block the sun’s rays
From promoting a growth
That terrified and thrilled
All that were near.
