"Seek and find": tense, imperative,
Seek to act as meet and just,
Peel away the scabby crust,
Share your secrets, if you trust.
Seek within the wound unhealing,
Seek the treasures hoarded there,
Hoard yourself or freely share,
Seekers die in droves, beware.
Seek to keep the tale unending,
Seek to see the dawn's return,
Now the dawn's a thing you earn,
To illuminate or burn.
Seek the secrets obfuscated,
Seek the baubles, gleaming bright,
In this place of almost-night,
See the beacons blaze with light.
Seek the hidden, seek the glory,
Seek within chaotic churn,
Feel your mind and body burn,
Tightly hold the loss you earn.
Seek beginnings, seek an ending,
Seek the things you need to see,
That languish in obscurity,
And in due time, exact their fee.
Seek deception, revelation,
Seek and find enlightenment,
Those you followed as you went,
Know that profane sacrament.
Seek for knowledge, o'er all others,
Seek and find that which is true,
As you hunt the jungle through,
Ask yourself... What's seeking you?
