Are humans just the personification of rocks?
How sedimentary of us to never experiment with our actions.
Continually, we carry out the same routine, content with the comfort of normalcy.
Imagine the possibilities, if we simply swapped the verbs from two different activities in our day to day lives.
Everyday, I see a lot of people and I write a lots of things.
Every. Single. Day.
What if I began:
Seeing a lot of things
And writing a lot of people?
Life wouldn't be the same,
But in the best possible way.
So next time you get a chance, pick up a dictionary
Flip to a random word
And incorporate it into your life for the next 24 hours.
Who knows where a few measly words may lead you.

Silence
I don’t remember the day the world ended. But I do remember the day I noticed. That photo was it, but I did not know what it meant until I sat in my darkened bathroom, staring at the newly developed film. The street was neither empty, nor abandoned. It was dead. The colours of the flowers wrapped in that red ribbon caught my eye, and as I crouched to take that photo, I could hear only the lonely silence of a graveyard after dark.
