Seasons Without

The Change of Season, the Change of Heart

By Samantha ZickgrafPublished 8 years ago • 1 min read

It ached like sunburn and the way you couldn't breathe

tears fell like the leaves and my soul changed color too

A heart frostbitten, dying

for a warmth that would never radiate again

And when things started to blossom

the earth was not the same

sad poetry
