just a few thoughts of the seasons

There is a strange type of beauty

In the crisp,

encroaching cold

Of Autumn,

Just as there is

A beauty in the seeping warmth

Of the rebirth

Of sweet, sweet Spring.

There is joy, hot, dry

Joy of the enticing

Freedom, we know

As Summer.

And then there is the finale:

The soothing cold,

The end of the astrological year,

We welcome Winter.
