Searching for the Muse

I feel you on your way to me

My muse

Every day, I know you lead me

Carry me higher

I feel your voice in the warm sun of winter

A whisper on the breeze

That sends a chill down your spine

On a bright summer day

I can feel you crashing in the waves

Pounding out a beat on the surf

Inspiring me to dance and sing

Right then and there on the saturated sand

You're the rhythm I snatch

Out of the swirling night air

I know you sent the

Fairies I catch dancing on my bristly hair

The lovers I spy kissing on the beach

The squirrels that come to feed

From my outstretched reach

The magic that pops

In the corner of my eye

It's all coming from your personal supply

Every night as I drift

I whisper my wish

For your continued blessings

And your butterfly kiss
