Scariest Story Ever
Goosebumps enabled poetry
In darkness deep, in dreams I'm caught,
A twisted nightmare, my mind has wrought.
A chilling fear, it grips my soul,
As I descend into the abyss, losing control.
I toss and turn as shadows dance,
Whispering whispers, a twisted trance.
A shivering cold envelops my bones,
As I navigate these eerie unknowns.
In the blackest of nights, a specter appears,
Its gaze, an abyss, my deepest fears.
I try to scream, but my voice is mute,
Trapped in this darkness, oh how acute.
Haunted whispers echo through the air,
Whispers that make my heart tear.
Tread carefully on this winding road,
For what awaits is a sinister abode.
Suddenly, a presence, close and near,
A figure lurking, awakening my fear.
Its eyes glow red like burning fire,
As it feeds upon my trembling desire.
I plead for morning's soft embrace,
To escape this nightmare, my mind's wild chase.
But the darkness holds me in its grip,
Collapsing sanity with each fearful slip.
In the depths of night, I vow to break free,
To conquer this fear that binds me.
With every breath, I'll reclaim my might,
And emerge from this terrifying night.
So, wake me up from this shivering dread,
Lift me from this nightmare's thread,
For in the light, the darkness hides,
And I'll escape these haunting tides.
