Saviour of My Soul

Dedicated to Someone Special to Me Who Saved Me From Myself

Scrunched up firmly in a ball,

I throw them on the embers.

In every flicker, of the flame,

Evaporating all the shame.

Now all that's left, is the ash,

Of the ghosts that once possessed me.

Then you looked me in the eye,

And with relief, I began to cry.

You pulled me in and held me close,

Whilst I wept tears of, a new beginning.

On your shoulder, my tears fell

It was you, who helped me, through this hell.

And in my mind, rings a bell;

The sound runs through, my hollow shell.

It's like I'm under your spell,

With angels singing, when you open your mouth.

The words you speak, they hug me tight,

And through your wisdom, I've seen the light.

On your shoulder, my tears fell

It was you, who helped me, through this hell.

And in my mind, rings a bell;

The sound runs through, my hollow shell.
