Save me

If you can.

There is something that is amiss,

I can feel it in my bones.

I have voices in my head,

Painting a nightmare on my soul,

It's not like I am afraid,

Or like I'm trying to escape.

They hug me with their thorns,

But it feels like a warm embrace.

I know this is unhealthy,

But I fear I'm in too deep.

Therefore, I come to warn you,

Run away while I still plead,

I'm made of broken glass,

Its shards will cut in deep,

And still, a voice echoes,

Muted words asking for help,

But I know it's not easy,

Because I am hoping you could save me from myself.
